The Empire Building Awards, presented by Pella Windows and Doors, is the only statewide tribute to excellence in the home building industry and serves as the premier recognition program of the New York State Builders Association (NYSBA). The awards celebrate the builders, designers, and industry leaders who are shaping the future of residential communities across the Empire State. From innovative sustainable single-family homes to large-scale residential developments, the program highlights outstanding achievement in design innovation, craftsmanship, and community impact.
The 2026 awards ceremony took place during the kickoff luncheon of the Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI) Home, Trade, and Remodeling Expo at the Hilton Huntington on Long Island and was attended by Governor Kathy Hochul, who delivered the keynote address recognizing the importance of the home building industry in New York.
