Green Building for Building Professionals

This course gives an introduction to OSHA, the standards, general safety and health provisions, the general duty clause and requirements for competent persons. The course then continues with specific emphasis on the Electrical standard and Fall Protection. Topics that may also be covered as needed include Personal Protective Equipment, Tools-Hand and Power, Scaffolds, Cranes & Conveyors, Excavations, Stairways and Ladders. Upon successful completion of the course the student will receive a 10-hour Construction Safety Training card, which does not expire.
