The New York State
Builders Association (NYSBA) membership of over 4,000 homebuilding
and associated business work to promote the homebuilding industry
and its ability to provide quality housing to New Yorkers of all
incomes. For 2007, the NYSBA plans to advance legislation and regulatory
reform to address two broad issues, first to address the key factors
that drive up the cost of housing and second to promote homeownership
by increasing rehabilitation and preservation of existing affordable
housing stock and by increasing access to homeownership capital
for all New Yorkers.
